Whether you’re working a full time ranch, just heading out for a hike, or somewhere in between our equipment will be there for you. We pride ourselves on quality materials, exceptional workmanship, and field tested products.
Our Story
Back in 2017 we bought 10 acres on the edge of the Pigeon River State Forest
When people would try to come visit us there were several frequent stories we would hear. “The GPS tried to send us [somewhere not where we are].” “Holy smokes! What’s the matter? You couldn’t find somewhere further out?!” or my personal favorite “When we started to hear banjos back at the hill and we began to get nervous.”
Needless to say we needed a farm name that fit our location. Hinterland was it.Â
At the time we only had two businesses – Jane of all Trades ~ Equine Services and One Ounce Design. As time went on and we got settled in people started asking us not just for custom projects, repairs and designs but products. Some of the products started to take on a life of their own. Pretty soon it became apparent that the products needed their own brand. But what to call it?
Well we test all of our equipment right here on Hinterland Grange so Hinterland Wear was the natural choice.
We don’t send anything out the door that we wouldn’t personally use on our own farm. Hinterland Wear is used (and probably a bit abused) here just like we expect it will be on your farm, on your trails, and through your own adventures.
Our equipment will be there to serve you through it all.
